The magic begins behind the scenes, where skilled artisans bring waffle cones to life. Our waffle cone recipe is a closely guarded secret, resulting in a delicate balance of crispness and sweetness that perfectly complements our rich ice cream flavors.

The process starts with premium ingredients - and a touch of magic – meticulously mixed to create a smooth batter. This batter is then poured onto a specialized waffle iron, where heat transforms it into those familiar, mouthwatering waffle patterns. The result? Golden-brown waffle cones that envelop your choice of ice cream in pure cone-fection.

Make Your Own Cone + Grab An Ice Cream Factory Container at Your Retailer

National Ice Cream Cone Day is the ideal opportunity to embrace your inner ice cream artist. Begin by choosing your favorite Ice Cream Factory flavor – will it be our Blackberry Cobbler, Cake Batter, or Peanut Butter Blast? Then, create your own waffle cone, knowing that every bite will be a harmonious blend of creamy ice cream and delicate crunch.

For an extra touch of elegance, consider topping your ice cream with crushed nuts, colorful sprinkles, or even a drizzle of warm, velvety chocolate.

Waffle Bowl recipe

*No Waffle cone maker needed

Ingredients

  • 1/3 C Flour

  • 1/2 C White Sugar

  • 1/4 C Butter, melted

  • 1/4 C Milk

  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil

  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

  • 1/8 tsp salt

  • 2 Eggs

Directions

  • Whisk eggs and sugar, until frothy

  • Add in melted butter, milk, oil, and vanilla

  • Add flour and sugar

  • Grab your favorite non-stick skillet and heat to medium heat

  • Pour approx 1/4 C batter into skillet, moving the pan in circles to spread thinly

  • Cook until golden brown and flip to the other side

  • Prepare a nice sized bowl, about 2 in smaller than your waffle disk, by spraying nonstick spray on inside of bowl

  • Removed cooked waffle disk out of skillet into bowl and use a cup with smaller diameter to push down inside of bowl

  • Let cool for a minute and pull out the cup, finish cooling

  • Where cup was removed, should be the perfect spot for a scoop of Ice Cream Factory ice cream

Now, we know this is a Waffle Bowl and not a Cone, but the taste should be equivalent and it is created without a Waffle Cone Maker and a Waffle Cone Form.
